He knows certain facts about Izidor that could destroy his reputation and wreck his political campaign. In return for his silence, Simo demands money from Izidor, as well as starting an affair with his wife Ana. Fearing for the future of his campaiagn, Izidor murders Simo and buries his body in the garden, catching the attention of a homicide investigator. Meanwhile, Ivan, tired of his disability, decides to start provoking other Croatian war veterans by singing Serbian nationalist songs, which lands him in prison.
