In a Snug Beehive
In a Snug Beehive
Watch in a snug beehive on 123Movies. The terrain between testing and exposure, observation and exploitation, is murkier than ever. Taking as a starting point graphic artworks imbued with phantasmagorical-erotic content, Vlad Druck captures - in a surrealist manner - nascent forms of nudity. This strategy of layering eroticism with animated drawings subverts the discourse and undermines the ostensible premise. It is a calculated risk, taken with a deliberate recoil: by emphasizing lasciviousness, Druck shifts the focus toward the mechanisms underlying the visual discourse - the extent to which it involves illustration, interpretation, and, above all, exploitation.
